Terms of Service

The rules that govern your use of Eurobots Marketplace as a visitor, prospective buyer or prospective seller.

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Service govern your use of Eurobots Marketplace (the "Service"), available at this domain. By accessing the Service, browsing listings, submitting an enquiry or creating an account, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by [Legal entity name] ("we", "us"), registered office at [Address], VAT [VAT number].

2. Nature of the service

Eurobots Marketplace is an online catalogue of used industrial robots offered by third-party sellers. We are the operator of the platform, not a party to any contract of sale concluded between a buyer and a seller through enquiries received via the Service. We do not take title to listed machines, do not store buyer funds and do not act as an escrow or payment intermediary.

Submitting an enquiry through the Service is not a binding offer to purchase and does not create any obligation for the seller or the buyer. The contract of sale, if any, is concluded directly between buyer and seller under terms they agree separately.

3. Listing accuracy

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including technical specifications, condition grading, run-hours, year of manufacture, photographs and price. We perform light editorial checks but do not independently verify every claim. The optional Verified by Eurobots program (described on a dedicated page) introduces a stronger layer of verification on the listings it covers.

Buyers are expected to perform their own due diligence before any purchase, including a technical inspection of the machine on site or via a qualified third party.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) submit false, misleading or fraudulent enquiries; (b) attempt to bypass authentication, rate limiting, captcha or other technical protections; (c) scrape the Service in volumes inconsistent with normal human browsing; (d) reproduce listings or photographs in any third-party catalogue without the seller's prior written consent; (e) use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications.

We reserve the right to block IP addresses, terminate accounts and remove listings that violate these rules, without prior notice and at our sole discretion.

5. Intellectual property

The Service's design, layout, software, editorial copy, taxonomy and the "Eurobots" trademark are owned by us or licensed to us. Listings, including photographs and technical descriptions, remain the property of the respective sellers; sellers grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, translate and index their listings on the Service for as long as the listing is active.

6. Translations

Listings and editorial content are made available in multiple languages. The English version of every listing is the source of truth. Translations are generated by automated systems and reviewed where reasonable, but they may contain errors. In case of discrepancy between language versions, the English text prevails.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for: (a) the accuracy or completeness of any listing; (b) the conduct of any seller or buyer; (c) the safety, suitability for use, regulatory compliance or condition of any machine listed; (d) indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or lost business opportunities.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

8. Personal data

Our processing of personal data is described in detail in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read it.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always accessible from this page and the date at the top of the page reflects the latest substantive change. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page or, for registered admin users, by email.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Competent court]. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence.

11. Language

This page is published in multiple languages. The English version is the master text; in case of discrepancy between language versions, the English text prevails.
