Palletizing robots stack cases, sacks and trays onto pallets at end-of-line, handling repetitive heavy payloads and punishing cycle times. Eurobots Marketplace lists used 4-axis dedicated palletizers and 6-axis flexible arms from FANUC, KUKA, ABB and Motoman, with payloads from 150 kg up to 700 kg for cement bags and multi-pick gripper setups.
Palletizing robots stack cases, sacks and trays onto pallets at end-of-line. The job is repetitive, the payloads are heavy, and the cycle times are punishing — exactly what high-payload 4-axis and 6-axis robots are built for.
Used palletizing robots are a smart entry point into automation: the technology is mature, models stay in production for decades, and spare parts remain available long after a robot leaves the factory.

150–250 kg covers most case and bag palletizing. For heavy sacks (cement, animal feed) or multi-pick gripper setups, 400–700 kg class robots like the KUKA KR 700 PA or FANUC M-410iC/700 are common.
Dedicated 4-axis palletizers (FANUC M-410, ABB IRB 660, KUKA KR 470 PA) are faster and cheaper for parallel-to-ground stacking. 6-axis robots are more flexible — useful when you also need to tilt loads, depalletize, or handle complex stacking patterns.
Yes, but check the IP rating of the wrist and consider washdown requirements. Standard IP54/IP67 robots work for dry food. For wet washdown you need a stainless wrist option or a dedicated food-grade variant.
Modern dedicated palletizers achieve 1,400–2,200 cases per hour on standard pick-and-place patterns. Real throughput depends on case weight, pick distance and conveyor in-feed speed.
